It is a universal question in our lives that whatever happens in our life, it happens with the will of God, But what does God want from us or How does He work?
And most of the time it comes in our mind when something bad is going on, most of the time when we are happy with our lives, we don't ask such silly questions to ourselves or others,
But as soon as we are stuck somewhere in our life, we start with asking for help, making different promises to God, that if He helps us then we will start doing this and that or stop doing that. Nobody knows that but everyone wants to know what is the Way of God to accomplish the things,
How they can understand why those things happened in their lives.
Sure even I am not exactly aware of this mystery, But here is a suggestion which I like so much, cause when I got to know all about it, It gave me strength many times and in many ways, cause I start to understand the basic elements of a situation,

It will be wonderful if you have watched that movie and its name is Evan Almighty, It is a 2007 American comedy film, and a standalone sequel to Bruce Almighty (2003). The film was directed by Tom Shadyac, written by Steve Oedekerk, based on the characters created by Steve Koren and Mark O'Keefe from the original film. It stars Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman reprising their roles as Evan Baxter and God, respectively, with new cast members Lauren Graham and John Goodman. The film is a modern-day retelling of Noah's Ark, which Evan reluctantly re-enacts because God commands him to do so and will stop at nothing to make him do it even as Evan pursues a new career in government.
A lot of different scenarios come into this movie but the interesting thing happens when the wife of Evan, decided to leave the home with her three kids due to being ashamed of all the acts of Evan.
And the real fun started here, Joan (Evan's wife) takes a ride break, and she and her kids are having a meal in the restaurant,
One of them asked her to go washroom and along with him rest two kids also goes, She is alone now, and she call the waiter for the re-fill the meal,
The waiter is no other one but the God himself, He noticed the upset face of Joan, and come to her and asked "Is she disturbed?"
She tried to ignore him, but he insists to know on the problem she is facing, And she starts to tell him, about her husband, his acts of making an ark, which she thinks is so embarrassing.
God smiles and tells her, It is really good to know, I think it is an opportunity for him to do a great job.
Then he explains to her, the way of God, fulfilling people's desires.
People ask a lot differently and expect the result which can help them to achieve more, but God takes their wishes and grant only those things which can make them able to achieve by themselves.
Here the Freeman explains as GOD in that movie-
If a person asks for patience, would GOD give him patience or a situation, an opportunity, when and where he can show patience,
If a person asks for courage, would GOD give him courage or a situation, an opportunity, when and where he can show courageousness,
In the same manner, if someone asks for happiness and prosperity for family, Would GOD give that family the same or Give a situation, an opportunity where the family remains happy and together, side by side.

It was a really great message and understanding about GOD or Nature's working style, Most of the time we feel lost when we pray for something from GOD, and even he fulfil our wish, we don't recognize it, Cause we never expected such results in the return of our prays,
Nonetheless, Life is a teacher in itself and whatever name is given to that superior power, we should also learn, the "way of working" of it,
And believe it, when you realize that all the surroundings and situations, you are facing right now, they are just outcome of your wishes too.
There is nothing wrong with it,
It's all about our way of seeing the world and things.
